Virus

have a trojan virus on my laptop...its a toshiba. i dont have a recovery disk and i dont know how to re-format my laptop to make it go?

any ideas.

already done that. but the virus is still there.

What AV did you use? Did it say what infection you have?

was AVG 7.5. it done a scan and instead of healing the virus it just send them to the vault. i got told i need to completly re-format the laptop but dont know how to do it.

Sending them to the vault removes it, it gets sent to the vault and not deleted just in case it was mis-diagnosed.
