ps3 playing dvd's on hd tv!

ive just set my ps3 up ready for GTA tomoz, and i thought why not see how good hd is..

so i slam in the matrix on dvd and set the upscaling to full screen in the ps3 settings, but the movie imo is all grainy and not hd looking at all

anyone else get this, its a 32" samsung btw..

ive got the 50" samsung tv and with my hd films its ok but blue ray is alot better imo.
try changing the upscaling to auto might work better and pic the best resolution for your tv mate.

some films dont look different in HD and like you say come out grainy, 300 on blue ray is a good example it looks decent but its way to grainy

-off
-double scale
-normal
-full screen

which one do i choose?
