I'm 21 in 3 weeks but had too go and get my mate too buy it for me.

Agree mate, Its 21 down here aswell. I felt a rite mug when i got turned doen for alcohol as im only 20. Not sure about solvents. Oh well people will just resort in either stealing it or geting off the market then the shops lose profit.

Are you sure you have to be 21 to buy the paint? Or do you just have to be ID'd if you look 21 or under, just like with alcohol and tobacco.

Absolute bollocks. I remember about a year ago i went into a spa in Cardiff and you had to look over 25, or be able to prove you are over 21 to buy alcohol.

Also where i work, you have to be 21 to get in.

The thing is, its not going to be hard to get hold of. Ask anyone in a hardware store to buy it for you and the chances are they will. Its not like alcohol or cigarettes and you wont look like chav scum if you ask someone to buy it for you.
