ebay listing delay?

have just stuck my car on a 1 day listing and although i can see it through 'my ebay' i cant find it on a search. Is there some kind of delay until it is live? Obviously on something like a 7 day auction i wouldnt mind but a 1 day one it makes a difference!

i would guess it won't come up instantly but the bidding time should only start from the time it bacem listed?

mate i was told it comes up after a while as sumtimes ebay has to check the listing before they can let it come up

grrr has been known to take upto a day for it to fully work, never had that problem before i dont think!? whats the point in 1 day auctions then?!
