speaker crossover

i've got a cash flow problem at da moment, jobless! but i've got a few spare quid to waste on improvin my sound system. i was told dat by buyin a crossover fing i can get mroe bass out of ym 6x9's? is dis true?

not really, are the speakers amped? if so set them to low pass filter on the amp, of if you can set the rear speakers to only bass on the headunit. Subs make bass. 6x9's dont do much but make poor noise
