What subs have you got mate? Not all subs fit in the stealthboxes and not all subs that fit work well in them.

very true but on the order form it asks which sub you will be using so they may make it to order

The only reason they ask for the make/model of sub is so that they know whether the customer's sub will fit in the box, the boxes aren't custom made to the sub, what they don't want is for someone to have a sub with a large mounting depth, buy the box and it not fit, then the complaints come in.

The sub must have a max mounting depth of 170mm, this is why they ask.

I've got a pair (for a sax) sat i my house and when I bought mine I didn't realise that my subs had a mounting depth of 172mm, they informed me they wouldn't fit but because it was only 2mm they could put a little baffle on the front of the boxes and carpet over.

But if you've got a sub with a depth of 180mm or something bigger, a 10mm baffle on the front would look a bit silly.

very true you shouldnt have to modify it to suit

i suppose you could always email them or phone them with your requirements

They look well slick and flush, never seen things like that before any one got any picks with subs in them in the saxo?

I must say, a box is the biggest factor when it comes to sound.

If a box is of bad design and is too small for the sub it will sound flappy and will not be very loud.

However, if the box is too big it can sound boomy and lose its ability to punch.

Best to look at the manufacturers recommendations. This is the best way to build a box.
