Well, my first car was a 1.2 clio, had no hassle at all..
Day i got my saxo, had people right up my rear, wanting a race or just wanting me to put my foot down. Guess who the worst are, other saxos!
There is this other black saxo on my road, and when ever i am tinking with my car, she will rev it as she zips past, i mean seriously whats the point. I never understand how some people feel the need to do that.
Did anyone else notice how people treat you different on the road now you drive a saxo?
I get wanker sign all the time for doing nothing wrong at all..
Was driving at 60mph on the motorway in the left hand lane other day.. Lorry over takes me doing hand gesture.
Safe.
The joys of owning a saxo tbh.
i've never had a problem.....
Unfortunately charva's are attracted to Saxo's.
used to get that in the VTS all the time- especially from nOObs in 1.1 Saxos who drove like they were Superman. Surprisingly though, in the Type-R don't get any of that any more..

The horses feel inadequate next to Viper....woops off topic.
Just don't raise to them and they shouldn't bother you twice.

Only occasionally I'll have some prat wanting a race or being stupid on the road, I just don't rise to it since I don't fancy ending up in an overturned car in a ditch......

Yea mate only had mine a few weeks now and ive noticed people act different, not had any problems with other saxos but had a fair few 306's and fiesta zetecs tryin to get me to race them, i tend to just ignor them coz a vtr will beat all 306's apart from a GTI6 and zetecs are slower than a furio lol :p thing everyone just asumes if you dive a saxo ur up for racin!

Most people think a "saxo" is just gonna be a small 1.4, so they think they have a chance, i think. Just wait till they notice its a vts :D bye bye

I never get people trying to race me, run me off the road, people up on my arse etc.
Maybe its because i dont have a big zorrrst, have mi choons blazing and drive like a bell end.

Someone got out the wrong side of bed this morning ;)

if somebody is up your 4rse, simple solution to get rid, is to decide to wash your window for an excessive amount of time so they cant see, they soon back off ;)
you get extra points if they're car is all shiney as it will leave soap marks from the washer fluid ;)
would it be possible to adjust the rear washer so it sprays the car behind?

I was coming down one road bout 10 at night and a saxo full of chavs over took me and it was a 30mph limit!! There was a couple of junctions ahead and was hoping a police car would be waiting at one but unfortuntely not. Would loved to have driven by and see them get a bollocking!!

When people are driving up my arse and what not i tend to just slow down tap the break a few times and then they eventually get the point, but if im in a bad mood or just wanna have abit of fun, i lead them to a 60-70 road let them past me and just boot it. Thus leaving them to "eat my dust" and giving them a rude gesture.

Nah my Step- Dad's got the best trick, we live just of a dual carigeway which now has a 50mph Limit and Average Speed, Speed Cameras.
He waits until we get to the 50MPH limit then waves people past, and watch the brake lights suddenly go on.
Anyway back on topic, I've not had anybody give me jestures or anything like that when I've driven my Saxo.

yea same in my area, saxos are saxos at the end of the day, not everyone is an enthusiastic owner, they just like to race, its like marking your territory if u win
I love the colour of mine (posi blue) and the way it handles for standard is immense.
She's going down 45mm tommorrow woooooooo!

Genius, never thought I'd say that tbh. At the moment mine is only a dribble has no powaaaaa.
I just turn my lights on then off (in the day time) so it looks as though I'm tapping the brakes every so often, tend to back off then... thats just usual to be tailgaited though I would of thought, not just a particular type of car.
ive found a new thing to do if im in a playful mood,
downgear, rest left foot on brake to show lights, then boot it away, they slow down and u shoot off.
either that or gradually slow to a stop :D

im hoping that someone will sit an inch behind me. then when i stamp on my brakes, their insurance will pay for my bumper and rear quarter to get sorted.
got abuse of a idiot in a golf gti on the way home just now, all because he was pissing around in the left hand lane just before the junction i indicated to go past him and as i got 1/2 along side his car he decided to pull out too.... fortuantly i saw what he was doing and swerved to avoid him.
5 mins later at a junction he pulls him next to me and
"Do you mind growing up you pr%*k!!"
i replyied
"By the time youve learnt to drive chances are ill be on my pension"

hmm whats wrong with that..
What is the speed limit? People say goin above 70mph on a 70mph road is dangerous, They also say doing under 70mph on a 70mph road is also DANGEROUS. Thats whats wrong with it, Many people are getting killed because of speed and lack off. :y:

Not really had this crap.
Once on the way home, long, safe road, 50 limit. Always do 50 on the clocks.
Night and some little prick in a ford ka with at least 2 other mates in his car, right up my chuff.
Brake light trick, worked then he screams back up, he goes to overtake when the road is very visible, let him get level and drop to fourth and good night senorita, yes I did speed then - give me some neg rep you honest brokers!
Apart from that I get respected, people let me out of junctions and I do the same, I find its karma.
