not much

you get shed loads more torque with 88 better seats, brakes, alloys

and still get 45 plus mpg

there were only 18995 brand new and worth nowhere near £15K for a 2 year old car. I used to admin the Astra Owners Network and most of the guys had VXR's or 888's.
