You wanna scotch lock them onto the original front speaker cable mate:)
If you havent got scotch locks then you can just cut the speaker cable off the loom, strip it back and solder them together, or use a crimp connector, or if your a real pikey just twist them together and tape them up:D Lol
Make sure when you cut the cable that you cut the cable on the length nearest to the headunit, and not the original wiring. Cus you can buy iso looms for the stereo, but you cant buy the original loom.
The cables will be labelled up. i.e. front right positive and right front negative.
Make sure you get the polarity right, or they will sound naff and you may do damage.

look in the manual for the wire colours and what speaker they run
what headunit do you have anyway???
usually the negative is determined by a black line running the length of the cable and the positiv a solid colour without the black line

Right...
Take out the head unit.
Pull out the block connector that goes in the back of it.
There is then 2 seperate blocks (iso) which plug together.
Read what these say on them. They are all different colours. I.e. green, blue, grey etc etc.
Find the 4 for the front speakers.
Find the corect wires. i.e. front right positive.
Chop it, leaving plenty of cable on either side.
Link it the new cable using the methods i specified.

get the yellow blobs out pred. who cares anyway!
btw i wouldn't use scotch locks, unless you fancy your car setting itself on fire. they're about as safe as wrapping two wires together with insulating tape.

Yes, scotch locks arent the best way to connect them , but they work okay.
You wanna solder them ideally, but its a bit of a pain if you havent got an iron and you dont know how to use it.

not touchy just doing my job :y:
best connection is to solder them as coonper said
put a bit of heat shrink on first then twist the bare wires together, put a bit of flux on and start applying the solder, slide the heat shrink over the soldered bit and heat it up, simple and very good way of doing it :y:
