i've just bought my sony explod 12" 1200watt pentagon shape subwoofer and a 1000watt amp. i know i can run the sub of the amp, but iwll my 6x9"s whihc are 315watts each be able to run of the same amp as it is a 4 channel amp.also would it be sensible to connect my tweeter whihc are 150watts to the speakers if they were connected to the amp?
all comments welcome plz.

you say it's a 4 channel amp.
simply connect 2 channels on the sub, and you have 2 more channels left. you can connect the 6x9s, no fear, and run them normally. adjust the gain and go!
dont understand the part about the tweeters. what are you saying?

if you look at the box the rms will be a lot lower than 1000watts as 1000watts is just the max power out put from the amp and the people put silly maxpower ratings on the amp just to sell it it is the rms you should look at shen buying an amp. you will have no problem running the 6x9s on the other channle and putting the tweeters on the same wires as the 6x9s will not do any thing eather. smileys/smiley17.gif
