Well, i think the times come, to take my bumpers off, and repsray the bump strips, and the splitter, but i dont know how to get the bumpers off....

Also, what would you reccomend as a process to repsraying them? i was thinking...

- Sand back to plastic
- Plastic primer (2-3 coats)
- Posi blue paint (3-4 coats)
- Laquer (2-3 coats)

With abit of flattening down in between coats?

Any tips on doing it?

Use the guide in the modifications section dude...
Basically 6 x 10mm bolts:
* Under rear lights (which you need to remove from within boot)
* More bolts each side under the arch liners
* Two more smaller bolts securing the lowest part of the bumper

Did mine at the weekend just to see how to do it. Piece of pie :y:

Tempted to do mine using pretty much the same process but id sand down the bumper until its uber-smooth before the first coat of primer goes on.

Work in a warm, dust-free space if you can and leave plenty of time between coats if you can. Wet-sanding between layers is also essential for a decent finish with rattle cans. Id use white primer as Posi Blue is a lighter colour and just take your time and be careful throughout.

Jungle Jim always gets great results with his work so maybe ask him for a few pointers mate :)

Lightly warm the bumper with a hairdryer before you spray the paint,I found the paint goes on much better.
