Why are they? They were there when I had all the problems upto my wedding last year, and are still there now with the continuing family problems and currently quite a nasty health problem. It's times like these that only the best friends stick by you, and it's this that shows who they are!

Brendan, been best mates for nearly 14 years now. Can talk about anything, practically brothers.

Aidan; Makes me laugh and I seriously can trust the guy, can tell him just about anything and it stays with him.

Andrew; Gives the best advice, is wise, makes me laugh always puts me in a good mood.

They've all stood by me and all 3 have always respected my views and opinions. I know they'll always be there for me just like I will be for them.

Scott i'd say is my all time best mate, been real close since school... can tell each other anything and trust that it goes no further than each other, could walk in his house anytime of day (with my key) and sit with his dad and have a beer - no questions asked

Three best friends for me, many close friends, many friends and some acquaintances.

Best friends are:

Rick: Met him at college 4 years ago, he helped me through some very rough times and has always been there for me. Always makes me see sense, is always right, probably knows more about me and my life than I do and always knows how to get me out of my own mess, life.

Peedie, AKA Phil: Also met Peedie at college. He was also there for me through my rough times a couple years back, got me away from all my problems and made sure I wasn't abusing myself in terms of alcohol and drugs. He's always there for me when I need him, knows when I have a problem without even telling him. Top quality guy is all that needs needs to be said about him.

Fee (My lass): Known her since last January, met her at Q a rock club in Farnborough when she was the DJ, got together last March. She knows me very well, the same as Rick and Peedie. She has been there for me through the rough times over the past year or so (when I wasn't taking meds and smoking alot) and stuck by me despite the shit I gave her, I'm very surprised she did, she must really love me. We're very much in love and she's the lass I want to spend the rest of my life with. Luckily for me she feels the same way. To have a best friend as the love of your life, who could want more?
