light scratches and some weird mark on the door?

I've got a patch on my door, looks like previous owner knocked the mirror off and drove with it dangling causing the paint to get light scratches on it. What can i use to get the scratches out. They are not deep at all but they are there if you know what i mean. I've not got a PC or anything, just pure elbow grease. I've tried polishing but nothing is happening.

Also got some really random "stain" on my drivers door. Think i'll need to get pics in the morning. Is there anything that people can recommend to do the job?

if there not to deep use t-cut scratch remover, worked on my bonnet afta hose at the jetwash killed it

thought i'd let you guys know, i managed to remove the cum stain from my door... and also the scratches from the wing mirror.

i washed with zymol auto wash and megs wash mitt, dried with poorboys waffle weave towel, claybarred with megs clay bar and detailer and used Megs clear coat wax to polish up with after... all i can say is wow tbh. amazing what a quick clay bar can do...! my vtr is now on par with my red car for exterior clenliness .. finally :)

Don't use t-cut.. Try megs scratch-x or A very strong abrasive polish with a foam pad applicator :y:

was like a white rash if you like. loads of scratches that weren't deep deep but were causing loads of white marks. if i knew it was going to get rid of them i would have takena pic to show before and after. but as i was just doing the whole car i did and then realised it had gone lol...

its not until you clay bar your car you realise how dirty your paint work actually iseven if you polish it regular
