Hi

I have a DVD player in my car (which is only a DVD player) and I will be getting a Ripspeed 7" Monitor this week.

I want the sound to come from my car speakers so I need to convert the 8 speaker wires to an rca plug. I know you can get these converter things but they expensive.

What is the best way to do it?

does your head unit have an audio input? If so connect dvd audio out to the head unit audio in an bobs your uncle.

Plus if you do it your way then you will only have audio through the dvd player i.e. no radio

The headunit is only a dvd player and has 2 sets of rca connections and the screen has an aux input. So the only way is converting them to an rca connection.

How do I get the car speaker wires connected as they are only strands of cables at the moment?

No all it has is a connector for live, switch and ground. Then 4 rca sockets (digital out, l and r audio and video) then an aux input. Thats all it has

surely the simple answer would be to install an amp then :s

all you need to do is connect an rca lead from one of them plugs to the hedunit and you should get sound mate
