Like Scott says no need for a mask really when using fibreglass! But DEFFO wear one when you start to sand mate!

I have a PROPER air fed mask for painting and got some 3M's for using when sanding filler. The ONE time i did a few hours sanding without a mask i felt so sick after and the next day!

Also were a mask when sanding MDF as there are chemicals in the wood and when you cut the dust is really bad for you!

Good see you getting stuck in with the fibreglassing though!

yeah mate i would not even try to start sanding with out a mask. i will try to do some more in the week and i will put up more pics as soon as i have done more. just thinkg what to cover them in i may just get a good match to the carpet in the car or get some leatheret.

Scott
22nd May 2005, 02:25
you could heat the carpet up using heat gun and mould it around them, seen it done before to very good effect

reevesy_vtr
22nd May 2005, 02:27
do you mean the carpet in the car?

nixy9
