okay so my plan is as follows!!

as some people may no i have decided to get my own insurance policy going, get rid of the VXR coz of fuel/ running costs! the car drinks fuel for fun and its starting to get beyond fun!!!

decided to go for this car

corsa 1.4 sport
2 owners from new
unbelievley clean, was owned by chris astley of chris astley motorsport.
the car was originally earmaked for a track car but chris went for a nova instead.
full service history with vauxhall

the car has coilovers, HID conversion, speedline wheels, 2.0 litre brake conversion.

i have never seen a cleaner corsa!! the paint work is mint!

cars been offered to me for 1500, as its a mates..

To be honest, I drove a VXR a couple of weeks ago - nice cars, powerful, comfortable and nice to drive - but watching that fuel drop to 6 MPG I was astonished! At the end of the day, with fuel prices it's better you get something smaller.

That looks way too low!!! Can you actually put that thing on full lock? Apart from that is a nice looking corsa! A lot cheaper to run than the vxr!

Thinking of changing my vts for a vtr or furio for next year... can't afford the fuel prices :(

got my settlement quote through on my cars finance, and its a lot less than i thought!!

the corsa im buying is 1200 to buy and the same to insure...so im gunna be quids in!

update on the vxr being sold. i think ive found a garage to buy the car for 11700 pounds. could have my little corsa my next weekend if all goes to plan, i have worked out that on finance and insurance ill save roughly 300 quid a month! that doesnt include the petrol bill!!!

Exactly, it does handle as I was in it at cadwell and it was catching up with Evo's and Cupra Rs! My hands went purple holding onto the roof bar! Haha.

It's so clean, as it wasn't long after it just had a 2000£+ respray! :P

yeh they handle,if the setup is good,ive seen alot of these cars handle crap for the basic reason being 70% of them have shitty gmax suspension and standard 2.0 16v brakes,bilsteins,polybushed,ebc/brembo brakes,quickshift or dogbox,quaiffe diff and your on to a winner!
