Hi all!

Just wondered if the above is a problem? Its almost like the amp whacks full load through the sub when the HU is turned on. Does anyone know how to stop this or if this would cause a malfunction in the amp?

I'm using an Alpine HU with an Alpine Amp and Sub if that helps :)

Have you got your wire's next to each other? if so its that.

It does it on my m8s, its not a problem or anything wrong.

If you want to get rid of it, put the battery wire running by itself along your car, and the rest the other side.

The live is running down the left hand side and the other wires running down the right hand side... so i don't think this is the problem...

mine used to do that when i had a rubbish earth and it used to get rid of the power by dumping it into the speakers

i think its just the amp powering on, the amp shouldnt be able to damage the sub anyway unless its far too powerful
