Ive got a new set up for my car but when its turned up nearly to the max it dosent really seem that loud to me and its sounds pretty rubbish for sum reason.
Is this something to do with my set up or is it just the settings on the amp and stereo.
The set up consists of

VIBE MONO BOX 1200 WATT AMPLIFIER CONNECTED TO DB AUDIO 1000 WATT SUBWOOFER.

VIBE SLICK COAXIAL 2 6X9s 400WATT MAX POWER 135 WATTS RMS ON PARCEL SHELF

VIBE SE K - SERIES 60 17CM SPEAKERS BUILT INTO FRONT DOOR PANELS, 345 WATTS MAX POWER ,135 WATTS RMS AND SEPERATE 25MM SILK DOME POWER TWEETER AND A SEPERATE 12 DB CROSSOVER.

HEAD UNIT RIPSPEED MODEL 720 DVD / CD PLAYER 4 X 40 WATT.

ANY SUGGESTIONS RECCOMMENDED. CHEERS

because all of it is crap basically mate lol

first of all dont type in capitals, its like your shouting

6x9s arent doing your system any good especially if you have a sub in your boot

rear speakers are useless too so dont worry about them

get rid of the 6x9s and get a amp for the front speakers

are the front speakers components or coaxials??

ive looked on the box and it says the front speakers are multi - configuration speakers with the ability to be used in component or coaxial form, if that makes sence. cheers

hi Predator_VTR
they are vibe SE-K60 model.
they can be seen on the vibe website.
are these the ones you mentioned earlier
cheers mate

no there not connected to an amp mate.
would you reccomend i keep these speakers or get some new ones.
also what sort of amp should i get for these front speakers, ie the power of the amp etc.
glad we can all rely on u mate for your knowledge.

would a jbl gto 4000 amplifier be ok with the front speakers wired up to it or would this be to much/ or not enough just for the 2 front speakers.

start using the edit button mate :y:

ok id recommend you get them amped up and just get rid of the 6x9s there not needed

tbh i would get rid of them as vibe stuff isnt the best, so yeah if you can afford it thn sell them and the 6x9s and buy a decent set of components and an amp

that amp is 4 channel you would be better off buying a 2 channel amp, it would power them but its got two leftover channels, you could use the for a sub but you already have a mono amp for the sub so a 2 channel would be best

tell me what you think and put a budget up and ill have a look for you :y:
