car keyed.........

my missus has a posi blue mk2 and last sunday we went out for a drive we decided to stop off and have a drink :drink: then went back home, the next morning both of just about to get in the car and noticed some heartless F**K had keyed her car done the passanger 1/4 panel :wall::wall:. then on 3 days later (wednesday) another heartless F**K decided to key her car again down the drivers side all the way down outside her works this time its wing,door,handle,1/4 and this left her upset allday cuz she doesnt know anybody in the area she works only here work colleagues and it wouldnt be any of them cuz i know them pretty well too! luckily she works in accounts at a bodyshop and the sprayer up there who's been there for 20years and some of the cars i've seen him spray are amazing has offered to do it along with a few other lads. its got be prep'd rubbed down the whole of the drivers side and the passanger 1/4 panel to take the shine off, fill out the scratches then flattend down, primered then flattend down, then sprayed they've said intotal were going to be looking at £140 at the most now thats cheap i know but it shouldnt have to be done none of us who have our cars keyed should have to pay out money to have your car fixed cuz some jealous shit goes and keys it, if i caught somebody doin it i would defo be braking some fingers :boxing:....... i feel so much better now letting my anger out and telling you guys :hug:

The car has now been sprayed :clapping:, well actually its in the oven now as i write this message been baked lol :fcuk: well chuffed lol. thanks for all your posts guys :hug:

managed to make mine look quite abit better. I just built the scratch up with layers of touch up paint then rubbed like a trooper with t-cut type stuff alot lot better now not noticable really.

My stepdad had his 07 Jag estate keyed couple of months back. Had't had it that long and can't think why or who did it. He's just so angry cause his never had a brand new car before and top of the range aswell. It was done from the bonnet right to the rear door. Hasn;t had a quote how much its costing him yet. someone keyed mine last sunday.. navy so it shows up real bad. Inconsiderate tw*ats that do things like that, its from the front left light to the passenger lock, then all the way around the bottom of the lock down to the side strip (which a re colour coded) then back up and accros to the back light. my friends told me & i thought they were jokin..

My mate parked his missus' new Cooper S outside mine the other night, went out after watching the footy and some little f****r had keyed down one side...
Luckily they didnt seem to deep so used some of that meguirs paint cleaner and got rid of most of it...

i'd say to spray your 1/4, bonnet and bumper a garage will properly charge somewhere in the region of £350 - £450 :panic: unless you know some1 who works at a bodyshop mate :y:

My ped got keyed the other day, i know your all thinking ohh ped.. nothing special.

but i paid £800 for that and some wanker has just keyed it so i have to a) spend my time sanding it down and prepinng it for the spray which is costing money.

b) knowing that i will never get the money back

c) for well knowing that it might happen again as theres lots of jealous chavs about...

rant over, if i catch one of them i will take them to court and force them to go.. its criminal damage ffs and if i know they wont turn up ill key there mumas car ;)
