the old does a vtr do 60mph in second gear,obviously it dosnt look at my sig lol

they can on the speedo but aparently if take into accound your speddo being out a VTR hits the rev limiter at 57MPH which is about 61mph on my speedo

MAte lets not get offensive hear i used to think it did 60 in second but it just plain doesn't. speeds can easyier be that far out. I was told the standard limiter is 57 i accepted it so so should you. unless yours is calibrated you can't say you car going 63mph when your speedo says you are

As of now i'm staying out of this because last time i got this wrong and thought you could get to 60mph i got loads of neg rep

my s was over 60 (65 in fact) in 2nd on the speedo but no on the gps plus i know the gearbox cant do 60 in 2nd with taht rev limiter its 57 ;) plus its slower to take your car to the limiter so why would you wont to all the time? i have done it once or twice and thats it...

i love these threads as people get dead defensive about there car doing 60 in 2nd. Speedos are out! simple as that, had the VTS off the clock (140 on the clock) 133mph gps confirmed on 2 gps running different software and i know at teh limiter it tops out at 137!

no standard VTR box can do 60 in second, it hits the limiter at 57 or 58 iirc.

Your speedo may say 63 but really, it isnt goi g that fast. Go hit 70 on a motorway and use a sat nav to see what your real speed is. You will have a surprise. 75 on my clocks is actually 70 according to tom tom.
