Am i right in thinking your allowed to drive naked as long as you have appropriate footwear (driving law) and as long as you dont exit your vehicle whilst naked (public indecency)

Try it...
Stop by side of road and call over some lady and ask for directions

I think it is legal.. as long as you do not 'offend' anyone.
I use that term broadly as.. you might offend someone if they are walking past you at traffic lights and see your fun areas.
Or.. if you crash and have to dive out of the car..
You know. Done a bit of searching though, and couldn't find anything

becuase you are allowed to walk around your house naked with the curtains and windows open - so why not your own car? its a tricky one

Totally off the subject but talking about appropriate footwear..... have you got to have something on your feet? i find it alot easier driving with no shoes on, if i was to get pulled what could they do?
LSOfreak
20th May 2008, 11:11
well as long as shoes are near by so if you do get pulled they can be put on but it is the law to have footwear (flip flops are allowed but they get stuck under the pedals)

its prob section 5 public roder as the nakedness may cause offense. Im pritty sure it is illegal

20th May 2008, 16:48
It's illegal surely, it'd be like asking if it was okay to run across a football pitch naked? you'd get done.

not really becuase a car is your own property, therefore if your not doing anything illegal or unsafe it shouldnt be a problem

i really cant understand how it is called public indecency if your naked, when we were all born naked. how can it be a crime? do you think you could say something like 'oh...sorry but i am allergic to clothes' ?
bullit
20th May 2008, 18:12
i remember driving off down the road naked after a car pulled up behind when i was nobing this bird lol
then drove to next pull in and finished off
even though men wear dresses commando?

think youll find its called a kilt mate
i doubt it is legal as it is against the law/not advisable by law to not have your torso covered!

ambulance service comes along oh my god he must have been goin some speed as his clouths have been blown right off his body ahahaha.

police arrive
if driver is an offender! office says to his sarg ''hmm do we in effect have to cuff his willy as it maybe a leathal weapon sir?''
hahahaha
u can get done for it ye, unless you sit there in your boxers, for boys, then they can not say anything atall!
