On the home page maybe have a link after it so it goes to the last reply of the thread so no need to scroll through the pages that you have already read smileys/happy.gif

Just an idea...

There is s 'drop down thingy' to get to each forum at the bottom of this page...

On the individual forum pages there is a button to press which takes you to the last post of the thread... look for the little arrow icon on the right of the thread...

There is a place that shows all of the latest topics since you last visited, last 10 minutes or what ever... look at the top for "Active Topics"

That should be those three easily cleared up smileys/smiley2.gif

There is a quick links drop down.. which gets you to gen chat and forum home... but If I added 20'ish links in there, it wouldnt be quick anymore smileys/smiley17.gif

you know what, if on the drop down bar on bottom of screen we had a breif description of date and time each section was last written in that would be good.

i.e. at the mo, you flick screens to the forum home and can see that simo wrote in the photshop forum at...and on... such and such.

so on the drop down we could have

-events section (9 june, 19.04)
-ice (10 june, 20.24)

So then we know that events was writtne in yesterday and ice was written in today, so we go there to see new posts!!!

You could just use this (http://www.sax-p.com/forum/active_topics.asp) screen as your new forum page, and browse to and from it.. after setting the view time properly.

The active topics page shows you everything you could possibly want to know about live topics
