it was 150 quid just for fitting and doing torsion bar got springs from garreth for about 50 odd form gsmotorsport smileys/smiley17.gif

Aye thats what i got quoted mate not bad. I got quoted 280 quid plus vat just for colour coding :|

if you look at my car in your cars its been lowered 40mm with spax springs and rear adjusted to match. had springs fitted and rear done for £50.good to hava mate ata garage.

yeh why is it french cars have torsion bars my frend had a mk 4 zetec fiesta and its springs all round?

Yeah im cuz's Seat Arosa is aswell!!! He hadn no problems.
cost me 40squid for me 60mm springs and 160 to fit and lower torsion bar, tracking and wheel alignment smileys/smiley2.gif smileys/smiley4.gif
cost me £170 altogether - only one garage would touch it tho so didnt have much choice

Aye i might have to pay price, worth the finish though it starts your car off, that and some nice rims i think.
i paid £40 for 60mm springs an £80 to have then fitted and also the torsion bar set to match!so £120 all in! smileys/smiley2.gif

Where was this Dan! I rang that Century Auto Refinishers today and i got quoted 280 plus VAT for full colour coding, is that what you got quoted Dan?

cost me 100 to fit front shocks and springs and back shocks and adjust torsion bar!!
cheap as fook that matey!
century dont do lowering as they only do bodywork!

yeah 2 days after sorting everything i smashed a headlight overtaking someone stone chip.... had to smash the glass out to remove the eye brow, the stuff i used origanly was called flexiplex or something, its the stuff window repair people use to hold ur windscreen in £40 a can and once opend drys up in 2/3 days so just keeping my eye out for a window bloke, bloody night mare.... soz for the long reply p.s whos the bird on ur sig????
