Hi guys ive got loads and loads of scrap lead and copper from work was going to bin it all earlier then realised how much we are buying it for.
Does anybody know what the going rate is on scrap?
Ive had a look on google but im soo tired could make sense of much.

ive been offered 15 quid a battery i have 14 car batterys lol the lead is used out of it,scrap is up in price at the moment dude id take full advantage,sorry if thats a bit vague lad,but i know you will get your moneys worth from selling!!

depends on your local scrap merchant tbh.

copper is worth alot scrap value though. a new sports center has over 1million covering the walls in copper

I dont expect it to last

rough prices are good i know its bloody expensive just want to know how much beer money or holiday money im going to have. Ive got about 600-700kg which i know is going to be a nice earner. especially when it was all bought on different builders accounts mwhahaha

coppers worth an absolute fortune atm.

always getting the pikeys trying to pick my cable of cuts up at work.

pisses my right of so i usually chuck it away to spite them.

so toot it myself really but cant be arsed to drive round with the van full of bits of cable

steel 180 a ton
copper 900
stainless 1000
lead 800

holiday money it is then :) ive got few hundred kg of lead aswell 6months worth of junk

yup :) thats why i got it all stripped for £40quid my poor lil labourer spent the day doing it. well every cut off i got him to strip over 6 months.
Is the casing worth anything as ive got the insulation off the main ground wire for an office which is about 60-70m long huge great massive thing

thats what i wanted to hear had my mate going on and on saying its worth a bob or two to my reply was shut up you moron. scrappys will be shut tomorrow/today as of the bank holidays which is a pain

got 25 quid for an knackered copper water tank. That and old 1.1 engines pay good money :D

round my area you can get 3.30 per kilo of stripped copper(wire) and something like 2.70 if its not stripped depends where you go really and how the markets doing on that day

just be careful takin scrap metal bout lads, the cops hav been pulling loads of people over for moving lots of scrap metal round in the area

this is cos its sooooo valuable at the moment they fink people r nicking it if they got alot to make sum serious money

just as a lil warnin could cause unwanted run-ins wiv the police

rapidvtr thats awsum for a battery rung some places today and the best i got was £3.20 :(
