Hi, just bought one off Danr, and its in mint cond, but i have my sub and getting the RCA from my amp out, and my amp going to the front of the car...
With my old alpine unit, it only had 2 RCA ports, so i plugged it in that, and both sub and amp worked a treat.
Now this DVD player doesnt just have the red and black, it has Front L+R, Rear L+R, Aux L+R, Sub, Center.
Wondering which my RCA goes into, if i plug it in front, on volume 1 it is pretty fookin loud, same with rear, but rear it crackles, and the aux ones just dont play the sub or amped speakers...

If its a multi channel amp, then you will need more than one rca lead.
The amp should have 2 or 3 rca inputs, one rear and one front, so obviously rear for rear, front for front, and then bridg whichever is left for the sub, unless the sub is active.
In which case, you need to run an rca from the rear out on the h.u to the input of the 6x9 amp, and rather than running a short rca from amp to sub, run a new length from the sub out on the head unit. This way you have control over all the speakers and sub.:)

there is a RCA in and RCA out on my sub... thats it... so sub goes out, and the sub is active... fli active.
There is only 1 sub RCA port on the HU and its brown, not 2 like there is for outs on the sub.
If i the RCA from the rear outs to the amped 6x9s, the make like a fuzzing noise, like when you have tv on a unknown channel.... but music is there, just that in background

Mmm, that is a rubbish place to earth it to mate. I used to have mine there, but i moved it and it is much mch better. Best bet is to earth it under the seat mate. There is a small bolt which is just made for the job:y:
Not sure why it would only do it out the rear rca though...
So the amp works fine from the front pre out?

Not with you there mate?
You will only need one sub out, but you will have another 4 leads, 2 fronts and 2 rear pre outs
