When the insurance in due for renewal in Oct~ I'll be renewing it at about £1500-£2000

I remember when i came to cancelling my phone contract with 3..

Andy: Want to cancel my contract.. it's too expensive..
Rep: Oh, how about we 1/2 the price and give you a free phone?
Andy: eer.. ok...

Is it possible to do this with insurance?

Andy: Kwik-fit has offered me it for £1500, so i'm sorry i'm going to leave..
Rep: We can also do it for £1500!
Andy: eer.. ok...

And then ring kwik-fit back up, and then .. well you get the idea.

But do insurance companies allow do drop their prices if you're going to get custom else where?

it only works so far tbh, i rung up a insurance company and said i been quoted 3k, they said we cant match anywhere near that, its 5.5k. He advised me to take out the insurance with the other company

You can 't cancel a policy half way through. Well, you can, but you'll get stung for doing it.
You can ring round the insurance companies and tell them what your best quote so far is, to see if they'll do it better.

you can within 2 weeks, so use that time to get quotes and check you got a good deal?
