any one got any advice on how to remove sctraches from the bonet
think someone has done it with a key or something or maybe a cat like and they look shit so need some advice on how to get rid of them??

ok proper pro way no joke ;) but u gotta have the balls to do this ok!

you will need the following

Compound (aka g3)
1500 grade wet n dry paper
small wooden block (about 2inches by 4 inches)
chip repair kit (go to halfrauds) there about £10+
cocktail sticks
spray bottle (put water in)
porta cable polisher (if not got one then a house hold drill and a polishing adaptor to put on the end)


step one find your scratch go over it see if its deep or not if the scratch is pure white then its down to the primer if its only likea ghosting effect these are easy to get out!

simple steps

1.get 1500 W'N'D and wrap it around the wooden block
2.spray over the area and onto the w'n'd with the water bottle
3.lightly sand the scratch !LIGHTLY! until the scratch goes away
4.put compound onto ur polish adaptor or porta cable
5.on and angle polish/buffer over the sanded area


you will find the scratch has fully gone away.

deeper scratches are not as simple

1.do step one again
2. same again
3.get your chip repair kit out and a cocktail stick<< use cocktail stick to apply paint its more presice
4.in layers fill the scratch up with ur colour not all the way tho (if you go to far and hen let it dry just sand excess away)
5.once colour is on and level add clear coat let it all fully dry
6.wet area and sand down again LIGHTLY
7.get porta cable or drill adaptor with compound on and buffer upto a shine.
