right i put some 16" nimrods on a while ago and used 5 mmuniversal spacers on the front. i had some wheel wobble becasue of the universal spacers but carried on using them for a while. the wheel wobbled when i got above 30mph but stopped when i hit 85mph and juddged all the way down from any speed when braking.

the wheels are now off for a refurb and i have some vtr rims on, there is no wheel wobble but quite bad juddering when braking and it feels as if its coming from the left hand side of the car.

my thoughts are it could be the hub thats warped as the locating screws on both front hubs are not straight but it could also be the disc, caliper, etc...

anyone got any ideas or experience of this?

I had juddering when braking from high speeds and it was a warped disc mate!

I would be suprised if the hub was warped tbh.

The hub being warped is uncommon as Coonper said I would have guessed it's the disc due to it juddering as you've said! You could try popping it into neutral when driving and see if it's still occuring, this will help decide if it's gonna be drive or brake related.

just been speaking to Sean he has suggested it could be the disc's, baring, ball joint

so if it does it in neutral aswell as in a gear then its brakes?

do you use your car for track days? accelerating from 30-85 adn juddering would be huge warping of the disc, have you checked the calipers are firm and no movement? take the wheels of and spin the disc?

or get a disc run off tool and measure it (or look at the lip of the disc)

when braking if it judders its almost deffo the disc, but when accelerating it may just be somthing loose towards caliper etc slightly vibrating around
