I feel Dis-Loyal to pro evo??

I've been into Pro evo since 'International superstar soccers' on the Nintendo!
I've been playing pro evo on the ps2 and i love it! never went back to fifa!

however, im playing fifa on the xbox (havent played pro evo on it yet) and my god its amazing imo. The game play is soo realistic and the movement is
pretty accurate! however im finding points to hate about the game so i don't feel like i prefer it to fifa, but im finding this fuckin hard!!

Is pro evo 2008 on the xbox any different from the ps2?

pro evo and fifa are just as shite.... i mean each year they manage to add literally fuck all to a game and still people go out and buy it because the referee now has a whistle or something.

Konami messed up royally with the latest release though... lol

Sayers fucking right. Konami screwed up big time. They did fuck all to the game. I loved pro ev but the screwed the game up. At least fifa progressed and did something.

It is quite a bit different compared to the pro evo on the ps2, the ps2 version you can't even dive! lol

Used to hate Fifa, but I got seriously addicted to 08. Especially five a side matches.

Pro Evo never evolved enough really, and its a nightmare with the stupid names.

This is Football on the PS1 had diving. It sounds good, but you end up just chucking yourself at the deck every two minutes to get free kicks and penalties

im not sure what else is different as i haven't actually played the ps2 version lol. Just my brother played it and said its awful compared to the xbox 360 version.

Has real names now and alot more real strips also.

Yep, has real names now and about 80% have the real strips with sponsers on etc...

I take it the ps2 version doesn't? lol

Does the Pro evo lag when playing online? the ps2 lagged alot with the 2008 version!

Is alright, but there is a bit more lag compared to the old pro evo 6 online.

pro evo is the forza. GRAN TURISMO,
fifa is the PGR of driving games

however i must say i am DISCUSTED in the latest pro evo on xbox the editor has gone backwards the last 3 years i think it was PS2 pro evo 2005 u could edit literally everythinggggggggggggg on strips make teams look real, now u chose 9 designs and 9 boots its pathetic, also nothing else has improved outside the gameplay which is generally getting better every yearand still bette than fifa,,, FULL STOP

ahh i think not. Fifa's game play is pretty god darn realistic.

Pro evo, you ball travels over 50mph, the players can turn quick that car wheel at 10mph, and the whole game play is shabby.

If you watch a real game on tv, then wack on fifa, the speed and game play is pretty simular imo.

The latest Fifa is definatly way better than Pro Evo. Mind you, I've always preferred Fifa series to Pro Evo. Played the demo of Euro 08 aswell, and that is quality hopefully Fifa09 will go another step further! :)
