I'v tried searching but can't seem to find anything.
I'm going to be spraying a vt arch myself this weekend. I have primer, a perfectly matching colour and lacquer.
Can anyone give me some advice or tips on going about it or is it as simple as putting coats of each one on. thank you

spray in a dust free environment if possible. if you're in a garage, wet the floor so that any dust particles stick to the water and not to your paint
and take your time. Dont spray too near or the paint will run. Light sand inbetween layers of primer. Most of all just take your time.

first of all take the part that you want to spray off the car.
give it a good clean in hot and soapy water and then a wipe of with a microfibre cloth and allow it to dry.
Then get some very fine sand paper and sand the surface a little. Spray on a thin coat of primer and leave to dry.
Once dry inspect for imperfections if so then finely sand again. And reapply primer.
Check for imperfections sand down, then spray the coulour you want on. Allow to dry and check for imperfections.
You could now spray the lacquer on but you will get a better finish if you sand it down a little and spray another layer or two of colour on.
Then after this once you ar happy with the dry result then get the lacquer and apply a couple of coats allowing each one to dry before applying the next.
The key to doing it well is to only apply really think layers at a time or it will have run lines in when it dries.
