funny clicking noise

after i have driven my saxo and switched the engine off, i can hear a metallic clicking noise coming from the car. I think it is the exhaust system - but im not sure. any ideas? is it a problem?

:y:Once you turn the car off the exhaust will start to cool and can make a sort of pinking noise, if that's what your on about then it's normal for this to happen and I wouldn't worry!:y:

Yup my old Saxo use to do this. As above the exhaust is cooling.

if its a flicking for a few seconds dont the ecu or computer thing reset mines does it

It just all the metal components cooling off,they expand then contract as they cool.
