hello, im going 2 need a new clutch sharpish, anyways i went 2 get it looked at and 2 get a new 1 it would have cost me like over £400 wtf that cant b right! how much should this cost?

depends how much they charge for labour. £80-£90 for a Valeo clutch kit plus around 4 hours labour would work out around £250-£300.
