View Full Version : Anyone know how to wire up a rev counter to actual dials?

Basically i've put some 1.1 dials into my 1.0 as it didn't have a rev counter. Later found out that it still doesn't work as it obviously doesn't have a wire going to it. Is there anyway I could wire this up?

Thanks

I know that the rev counter works off the coilpack but I couldn't tell you which wire would be required.

Yea I know, heard about this. Yea I had a speedo and a giant clock. So swapped if for a mk1 1.1 clocks that show the revs as well. Doesn't work on mine. Must be a difference between 1.0 and 1.1 :homme:. Just looking to wire it up so it actually works :y:

I know you can tap into the grey diagnostics wire or even put a new wire into the ecu. But havn't got a clue to which the wire goes into which port and even which of the 5 dial connections. Hmm, doubt this is going to work :homme:
