You have a kenwood mask head unit so can you tell me where to connect the red and yellow wire off it asap cos i aint got a radio until i fit it. p.s i called you before to see if you were in but you didnt answer your phone.

Hi Gaz... you not got the manual that came with it...
Red and yellow are lives... one is a constant battery live, the other is the ignition live...
Kenwood usually swap the meaning of these two wires, compared to all other manufacturers, so off the top of my head im not sure which is which.
Connect say the red to ignition live, and yellow to battery live. The worst that will happen is that you lose your radio presets when you turn the ignition off... If so, swap them around.

yeah do as simo said try them one way round if you lose the presets just swap them round only take you five minutes to see anyway

cheers simo i have the manual but i dont no where about to connect them to the battery and the ignition.

I have swaped the wires around and it now works and keeps its memory and i have fitted my auto changer. Its very good.

I unplugged all of my stereo gear when i stripped it out the other day... AND I did what every one always friggin does... I left my CD cartridge in the damn multichanger. D'oh!
