answered your own question, a race track fella is the safest place or do a karting session.

Would it be worth even attempting to race a 1.1?.....
Get to the 50/60 mph mark, sitting in your seat pumping the accelerator hitting the steering wheel wanting it to go quicker like.........

theres plenty of karting tracks in wigan, search on yell.com and find the nearest one, better than blowing up your car.

while it may not break any speed records there is no reason not to take a 1.1 on a trackday.. would still be great fun. Fit some sticky tyres, strap in and try keep the momentum up :y:

as kam said, it may only be a 1.1 but i still enjoy the fun that it gives being a saxo :) ok so it hasn't got the pull and acceleration (and the handling as standard) of the VT's but they're still fun to drive.
back on topic, yeah as said look into trackdays etc where you can take your own car on track :D

thats what i mean! i recon it would be quite good! and if they made some were cheap for ppl to go it may keep some of the ideots from blasting round the local streets!
Snewham didn't do to bad on the fcs track day last year in his 1.1.
no reason a 1.1 couldnt keep up with a vtr on track. for example someone who's done it at last once before in a 1.1 against someone with litle or no track experience, the 1.1 could probably win!
its all about having fun at th end of the day so find a track and go for it
