Parcel shelf

Not quite sure which section to put this under, but ....

ive just got an sub box for my boot, and when the sub is in it and pumping away it will hit the parcel shelf due to the dips in it.


I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get a shelf that is completely flat?

heard the 106 ones might be :s

ill get some pics later, but the stndard parcel shelf, theres 3 dips and im after one thats completely flat along the whole shelf.

make your own out of mdf or sumin, i aint tryrd it but itcant be hard!

Is your sub really that high?? lol....it will sound better if you take it out....you dont really need it, its just there to hide stuff in the boot, a thin layer of MDF or even Plywood would work, just trace the shape from the existing one on the wood, then cut 1/2inch inside the line and then 2 screws/ bolts to hold her in place and your set....hope this helps...

ive got a boot build and which holds two subs, but there at funky angles lol, dont really wana take the parcel shelf out as i dont want to advertise what ive got in there, already had my sub and amp robbed due to the car being broken into about a month ago! :(

think im going to have to make my own shelf cheers :)
