just wondering how long people put them in the oven for? and at what temp?
cant be fucked to use heat gun

dnt put them in the oven mate simply get a hair dryer and heat up one corner then slide a butter knife between the glass and plastic and cut the silicon mate

you dont need to use the heat gun/hair dryer the whole way round the light, if your too lazy just heat up one corner enough to get a blade between and then slice the silicon takes about 5 mins to do 2 lights and doesnt have the risk of melting the light

10mins on gas mark 1 to take them apart
5mins on 1 when putting them back together - did start to melt a small bit though

if i use oven it keeps it all sticky so i can give it a quick spray then when sticking back together i can just whack it down then run a bit of silicone around to make sure its all sealed

i wouldnt put it back in oven after, fuck knows what gas mark one is, fan ovens ftw

IIRC when I did mine it was about 170 deg, for about 4-5 minutes, and about 3 minutes when putting them back together

i did mine 5 mins 220 in a fan assisted, be careful when taking them out be gentle and handle the glass with a towel dont try and grab the light by the plastic mount that goes to the slam panel as it will just snap off because of the heat, once i left mine for 10 mins the glass more or less fell out :homme:
