Right when I was 16 I did my CBT and it runs out this month,
Since then I have passed my car driving test but I still use the moped to get to work.
The bike is a 125cc
Will I need to redo a CBT to continue driving it? Or can I drive it on my car driving licence?
I have just spoken to the DSA and they were no help what so ever

Yes you do.
You need to have taken your full bike test before the CBT ran out in order to keep your entitlement.
CBT lad i'm afraid!
Mike

I don't even think you can do that these days. If you passed your test after a certain date, then it wasn't included in your pass.

if you passed your car test before your cbt ran out you dont need to take a cbt again! you can drive up to a 125cc learner leagle with no l plates and carry a passenger

God, my licence is so old it's paper and it mentions a man walking in front of the car with a red flag!
Not being a power ranger type, I couldn't give a definitive answer on the licence requirements needed. I would have thought unless your car licence specifically states you have entitlement to ride without doing the CBT, then you would need to get the CBT done.

"If you obtained your car licence before 1 February 2001 you do not need to complete a CBT to ride a moped."
