Fuel Consumption

Hi, Firstly i wanna say hello to everyone on here.........

Secondly, I have a saxo 1.1i Desire W Reg. It seems to burning a hell of alot of fuel. When i put my foot down to 60mph you can see the needle drop a couple of thicknesses. I am getting through a tank in 2 days. I also get a really bad eggy smell when i give her some "wellie" I've been told this maybe the o2 Sensor?????? Please help:wacko:

yeah the sensor may need cleaning or replacing, i have a 1.1 and a fiver gets me 45 miles so something is seriuoly wrong, may be your driving style also, do you leave it in the lower gears ?

i think the eggy smell is the cat mate? could be wrong but im pretty sure

lol. ud have to be constantly in gear1 on the limiter to burn a whole tank every 2 days

best to get a garage on it mate!
