well on the back its on the bump stops so dont think i can go any lower lol and the front is only 40mm havent got any money to sort it i need to save for a new windscreen some fucking car made a stone ping into mine and crack it i think i will keep it for a while i do want a vts but if i can find a engine for one i might get a conversion good idea??

do u no if the conversion kit is expensive and i wud put a 1.1 gearbox make the accelration quicker shit like that yeh

Just get hold of a VTS lump from a breakers yard. I'm sure the pug 1.1 would increase the acceleration but i'm not sure what would happen to the top end performance. Contact Suvvy on here as he is in the middle of dropping a VTS engine into his sax

Do like saxos low, mine used to be on the bump stops, until it failed the mot for it. But getting it raised was the best thing i done. Much more comfy.

yea good luck on a cheap lump, you need to make sure you have the following or its not worth getting:
vts lump,
vts unlocked ecu
wiring loom<--possibly one of the most important things
manifold
1.1 box has the same ratios as a vts box but is just slightly weaker but as long as you dont do standing starts burnouts etc will be fine

good luck on finding one though i payed 400 for mine with 50000 on the clock also as insurance measure change:
spark plugs,
cambelt.
oil
filter
water pump

i chose to do it as ive put a little too much money into my vtr also its bloody solid to sell your car atm + im happy with the saxo check out my progress thred below

yeh well i will spend somemoney soon well i have to get my gearbox and clutch fitted its booked in for wednesday so that will be sweet after but i only have the black rocker cover engine so it aint that fast but handles like a buety soo its all good gettign the tapets done on satruday and it raised a lil too on the back so its comfeyer for the gf
