well hopefully over the weekend im going to attempt to put my smooth dash in. so just need some confirmation on how its done.

remove steering wheel and dials etc.
undo the centre console and the 3-4 bolts in that
remove the two bolts either side at the bottom
remove scuttle pannel and three bolts

then will it just slip out?

also ive readi have to look out for something on one of the indicator stalks or something :S something snapping how is this avoidable?

thanks

firstly its all in the haynes.
secondly its pretty self explanatory when you come to do it
thirdly make sure you disconnect the battery otherwise the airbag will go off

if you are careful and use common sense to get it round the indicators (think theres some screws to drop them down) then you'll be fine :)

there are other bolts which connect it to the heater matrix, but you will find them as you go :)

u will also have 2 undo the bar that goes to the steering column from the side of the dash. Just the right 1 though, the left 1 that goes to the centre of the car is ok to leave! :y:
