Amp problem

hey

got 2 alpine amps car got broken into and lost CD player and some speakers took everythin out the car as in the subs and amps just incase they came back for them. decided to put them back in and cant get the amps workin there is power goin to the amps but nothin comin out is there any way to test if the amp is workin.

make sure there is a good earth mate and make may be speakers try another speaker to make sure bud let me know how u get on

You sure you have the remote cable wired in? If the bastards took the head unit then there is nothing to tell the amp to turn on!

There is a way round it though if you want to test it.

Run a short piece of cable from the power cable terminal into the remote cable terminal and the amp should power up.
