(Thats my standard backbox but you get the idea)

Iv been getting this annoying squeeking noise from where the two pipes meet. I fitted my new backbox yesterday and its started doing it today.

WD40 solves the problem, but for like 5 mins, then it just burns off :wall:

I was thinking about putting some exhaust putty inbetween the pipes on the flange to seperate the pipes?

ANY IDEAS??? :panic: REP FOR HELP ;)

Replace the clamp? or otherwise as you say use exhaust putty. Alternatively buy a stainless steel system :D

Avoid using WD40 aswell, especially on dry greasy surfaces.
