hi,

i have bougth a saxo 1.1 and have noticed that when i brake hard i hear a "clack clack clak" and feel in the brake pedal the small clacking sounds. It doesnt require great speeds, only hard breaking.

the front brake system looks ok, and its breaking ok aswell, but i dont know..

any thoughts? :geek:

Sounds like the the front pads are moving in the cailper!!

you mean the are weared out? maybe they need replacement, but not yet...

No if there cheap aftermarket pads they can slightly move, try having a look around the car, and see if you can see anythink?? maybe jack the car up and spin the wheel, and get a mate to press the brake pedal, you might beable to hear the nosie then??

Maybe go around and check things around the wheels are tight

Sounds like the pads might be wearing out..
