Thats ridiculous.

If Subaru and Mitsubishi want to create that type of car then they should release a new model- people buy impreza's and evo's for what they are; hell of a risk in making such a radical change.

Looks good in white. Power isn't anything to shout about though.

This isn't replacing the Evo, it's a new range.

Doesn't look good, but then these cars are not about design. A hot-hatch version of the more extreme Evo, and better looking than the fugly Scooby, but nothing on the normal saloon Evo. Will do battle with the VXR, ST and R32, Cupra and the rest of the pack.

I quite like the look of it, much better than scoob's pathetic attempt, I wonder how it compares to it on track :p

Only the Ralliart version will be a hot hatch equivelant. The rest of the range wont top 141bhp so wont be competing with the likes of the VXR, ST etc.

Not very well seeing as it's not aimed at being a competitor to the Impreza. The new STi comes with around 300bhp, this Sportback is only going to have 235, and thats the top of the range one.

The topic is about the Ralliart version, and thats what I was referring to. And actually, YES it will be a competitor to the Impreza, but not the STi, but the Turbo WRX which weighs in at 227bhp and 20k.

True.

Hadn't actually thought of the regular WRX, that's because it's not a proper Impreza though :P

theyve stopped making the WRX now its just the STI in production and i think they have wrecked them both older EVO's and Scoobys look and go better than these sensible hatch's

Certi

When did they stop making the WRX? It's still on the subaru website of new vehicles

EDIT: Just noticed it says "available in very limited numbers"

Still in production as far as I'm aware. Why would they stop making the WRX? Its in a lower band to the STi, and they run side by side. As Certi said, check their website... EDIT- limited numbers seen it:P

True.

Its a softy for a Scooby true, its barely as quick as our Type-R's. ;)

jazz_360 i read in a magazine they where only a limited run to the U.K if you look in what car magazine its is not on the reveiw section its the 1.5 2.0 and STI, they only did this because the WRX usually worked as a cut price STI but the new couldnt live up to it.
