19, 2 years driving experience as a named driver, Mum + dad under my policy - £1100 all in :)
Btw: Bell = cheap IF you pay it in full rather then monthly.

4k is ridiculous. Are you sure you gave all the right info? Try adrian flux, or some other brokers. They should help. Though it will still be fairly high being a new driver. So dont be surprised if its like £1800+

I think Bell are picky as to who they insure. I get the feeling that they dont really like 'high risk' drivers such as young and inexperienced ones as yourself. They wouldnt really touch me on things like Subarus and Evo's as a daily driver for business use and i'm 28 with 2 years ncb. However on a lower risk car they gave me a cracking quote :y:

u really shouldnt pay ne more than 2k for insure, even tho u got no driving years or ncb mate, shop around and ring the companies for a better deal

FRONTING!!!!
Why dont you just have it as your mum owning the car but you as the main driver and her as the named driver????
You "CAN" do this as i rang up Bell and asked!
