Typical girls nightmare...
:wall::wall:
Anyways my hair straightners broke yesterday morning, only a month old and not the best of time to break. Took them back and they have to be sent off for 2 weeks to be "fixed" FFS why they couldnt just not exhange them I dont know. But as I didnt take them back im pretty fooked off and straightnerless!

I actually feel like Im going to go mad with out them.

So im having a rant and Its made me realise I cannot cope without them which must seam pretty sad!

Messy hair FTL :(

I would have kicked off, if they're not that old then they should have done a straight exchange, plug them in see they don't work and swap them over, pretty simple lol

Oh well, i'd just buy some more.

At £140 a go i dont think ill be able to afford a replacement pair to keep as a spare. Nan said she would by me some spare ones.. but not the point

If it was me that took them back I would have gone mad. Apart from my phone I think there the most important item I own lol!!!

No Robb there not GHDS :( but they are of the same standard, sister has had a pair for 7 months.. had no problems just my luck!

do you mind me asking amiee where you got your QuIvis from? i work in a store that sells a lot of hair straightners (sallys hair and beauty if you have one near you?!?!) could recommend you a good cheap pair (and let you know whats on offer next month ;)) to keep you going?? no worries if you have already got some new ones :)

Amiee
19th June 2008, 15:56
Mine broke on me at half 7 in the morning mid hair too.. devistated.. Rang my nan (she brought them for me) and ranted for half an hour and was late to work!!

Emm I got them from a hair shop in Loughborough.. they specialise in supplying hairdressers I believe. I dont have the receipt so couldnt give you the exact place name.

We do have a sallys.. about 5 mins from my house.. so recommend away lol.. Ill need some before tomorrow as im away at the weekend at FCS!

Jojobunbun
19th June 2008, 15:59
right, letme just grab the flyer and i can tell you whats on offer!

ooh but firstly, have u got any mates in hair/beauty who have a sally card??

Amiee
19th June 2008, 16:02
Nope..

This is why I couldnt take mine back myself.. the shop wouldnt let me in cos a hairdresser brought them for my nan.

Jojobunbun
19th June 2008, 16:14
oh i hate it when they do that! could it be ellisons/captial hair and beauty/aston and fincher? any of them ring a bell?? how much are you looking to spend? theres a good offer on FHI's atm, but only if u have a sally card or are qualified... could scan my certificate in for you and you could put your name on and print it out in black and white?? they should give you it at a discounted price then... oooh we love scams!

Amiee
19th June 2008, 18:12
Lol... how much are they hun???

I have seen some in boots.. not sure if there any good though :(

Jojobunbun
19th June 2008, 18:24
they are normally £94.99, but with a wave of my magic wand they will be.....£68.14! heres the website if you want to check them out..http://www.fhiheat.com/

mind you i've just googled fhi and there some sites doing them for around £50 :(, but a girls gotta have her straigthners...especially for the FCS!! if thats too pricey, theres some Corioliss ones for £46.98, whic i've tried and are good in all fairness, but we sell LOADS more FHI's!

let me know if you are still interested lovey, which ones were you looking at in boots hun? xxx
