hi guys, im having trouble, i have a first austria 1600watt amp, it powers my pioneer 6x9s with ease and the input controls work, however when i put my subs to the exact coonections as the 6x9s i get hardly any power and the level adjust barely works, it turns them from off to barley hearable and nothing more, please help............

it has protection mode, and is probably not stabile on lower resistance.
is it bridgeable?

hiya, the amp doesnt state that its bridgeable, but even when wiring in normal mode, the power is very little, i think its a bit crap, however 6x9s are really clear and very loud....

well, i KNOW first austria is a BIG CRAP, but if you can find use of it even on 6x9's, i dont see why not to keep it


get a new amp for the sub smileys/smiley2.gif

i ahd a first austria 1800w amp and it was rubbish, sell it and get a recognised make, sony, jbl etc well worth the money
