no it doesnt go the other way if you look at standard aerial there is a larger bit at the front and then the moveable part sits behind it sunk down so was able to get it the other way but did try. i was able to pick up radio 1 at my house with no problems didnt try any other station as i dont listen to radio. make me an offer seen the standard bases going for £6.95 = £1.95 postage on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-CITROEN-AERIAL-BASE-106-205-206-306-406-SAXO_W0QQitemZ220247946929QQihZ012QQcategoryZ10406 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

looks good mate, for others with same idea.... smoothing the ariel in completely also looks good if you dont listen to the radio much. good alternative for those who do though

yer just a staright swap. you unscrew old one and screw the new one in the same holes

only colour i will do is black as thats the colour of my car so have black spray paint otherwise will come in primer. really not ahrd to give it 3 coats of colour and some laquer

not sure i think they will fit on 106, clio and 306 not 100% sure but think they all use the same standard aerial base
