insurance renewal problem

right basically my insurance renews on 13.01 on saterday at this time i will be driving up to fcs but the lady on the phone said to me it will take 48 hours to go on national insurance database so i didnt think about it until a moment ago that means im going to look as if i have no insurance until monday so is there anyway of getting the police not to pull me over? i mean im not going to speed anyway because i dont want to put an innocent persons life at risk but i dont want to really get pulled over on the motorway because of it and have to then pull off of the hard shoulder. as its pretty freekin scary help would be appreciated x x

Ask your insurance to send you a cover note via email or something matey, it might not prevent you getting pulled but if you're prepared for it then it'll limit the your time wasted/time on the hardshoulder!!!

As long as your insurance has commenced it will fine. Just explain to PC plod if it happens the situation and that you do have insurance. They will just ask you to provide documents at you local police station within 28 days.
